I love guacamole and one day, when I was about to make it, I got an idea to spice it up with some wasabi and nutritional yeast. I was surprised how tasty it was!

If you are an avocado fan and looking for some new recipes with avocados, try this one. All you need are 5 ingredients – avocado, lemon, wasabi, salt and nutritional yeast.

I love to serve this wasabi avocado dip as a snack with veggies and crackers OR use it as a spread. Developing new recipes is my way of being creative and thinking outside the box.

Small bowl, fork
Gluten-free, RAW, Vegan, No artificial sugar, Nut-free, Soy-free, Corn-free
- Place all the ingredients into a bowl. Smash with a fork.
- Serve with veggies, as a spread on bread or add it to your salad 🙂
- Store in airtight container in the fridge.
⭐︎ AVOCADO: Make sure to use ripe avocados. How to choose a good avocado? It should be soft but not too soft. If the avocado is hard let it on your counter for 2-3 day to soften. Also, if you ‘take off the stalk’ off the avocado, it needs to be green, not moldy.
⭐︎ LEMON: Lemon will give the dip nice fresh flavor, support digestion and it keeps the dip from turning black. Another tip for avocado dip. Cover the top of the dip with cling film, making sure there is no air trapped underneath. This will stop the top layer going black.
⭐︎ BLACK OR PINK HIMALAYAN SALT: Both are full of minerals. Black Himalayan salt has a strong sulphurous aroma. It smells and tastes like hard-boiled eggs. You can decide which one you want to use for your dip.
⭐︎ WASABI: You can use either wasabi paste or powder. I use 1/2 teaspoon in this recipe, but if you are a spicy lover then definitely add some more wasabi.
⭐︎ NUTRITIONAL YEAST: It is deactivated yeast full of B vitamins. I tried a few brands where the process of deactivating the bacteria was not done properly and you can still taste the yeasty flavor. I remember that I had a good
one from Whole Foods in the US, but in EU I am buying it from Vitalvibe.
