№10 100% Chocolate Porridge

Who doesn’t like chocolate? I mean the real stuff?

Usually, I am not eating breakfast (fasting for 12-14 hours every day) but if I do – 3min gingerbread chia pudding or this 100% chocolate porridge are my to go options!

Not only you can enjoy the porridge for breakfast but also for lunch when you need to make some healthy, fast and filling meal.

I believe in whole foods and what would be a better way than using 100% chocolate without any sugar – definitely look it up because the real 100% chocolate is full of antioxidants not full of added fats and sugar as the cheap chocolate versions you can find at the supermarket.

This recipe is:

Gluten-free, Vegan, Without artificial sugar,

Nut-free, Soy-free, Corn-free

I feel that it is my responsibility to share with you as much as I know about food marketing, so that you can make your own decisions when buying food. No more marketing strategies of ‘healthy’ food corporations!

Knowledge is power!

Small bowl, Scale

Gluten-free, Vegan, No artificial sugar, Nut-free, Soy-free, Corn-free

  • 70g Oats
  • 150ml Warm water
  • 15g | 5 pieces 100% Chocolate (Vitalvibe)
  • 1/2 tbsp Honey or 1 tbsp Coconut nectar (Vitalvibe)
  • Handful of mulberries (Vitalvibe)

  1. Pour either boiled or hot water (from the tap) in 70g of oats. Wait until the water cools down a bit.
  2. Add 15g | 5 pieces of 100% chocolate into your oats. Stir and let the chocolate melt. Add more water if needed.
  3. Add 1/2 tbsp of honey OR 1 tbsp of coconut nectar together with a handful of mulberries.
  4. Enjoooy!

⭐︎ OATS: Buy gluten free if possible

⭐︎ COOLING: We want the water to cool down a bit because we do not want to kill the nutrients in other ingredients like chocolate, mulberries or honey. I buy my 100% chocolate at Vitalvibe and they have unroasted, live chocolate so I pay attention to the temperature 🙂 It should not exceed 42 degrees to be considered raw/live food.

⭐︎ 100% CHOCOLATE: Superfoods! We are so afraid of chocolate that we will get fat but if we buy the real stuff without artificial sugar – our bodies will love us! You will not be able to eat as much of the 100% chocolate as you are used to because you will get satisfied fast. Buy 100% chocolate that is made from unroasted cacao beans because that chocolate is raw and alive = we can truly benefit from the vitamins and nutrients chocolate can offer.

⭐︎ MULBERRIES: Pay attention to a quality. First indicator is the texture and color. You want to buy soft, RAW, organic mulberries that are full of powerful nutrients and vitamins. Avoid over-dried, crunchy mulberries – they are dead! You can also see the quality when soaking them. Raw mulberries soak much faster because they are alive and not over-dried. Also, it is the best to soak mulberries because it is easier for our body to digest it.

When I turned 100% vegan and started with a plant-based lifestyle back in July 2014 I used to have a hand blender (we all have been there❀). It took me almost 2 years before I got my first high-speed blender.

Talking from my experience: Investing in a good high-speed blender is a great decision. I am using it every single day! I even took it on our vacation to Bali!

You can find Omniblend – Love of Raw edition in my kitchen and at my LetHerThrive e-shop!

It is no secret, that good quality ingredients are expensive! I know the guys from these companies so I asked, if they could give me some discounts for you here at LetHerThrive and they said: ” YEEEEES!”
